Hi, I'm Nick, the founder of Blantonia. A while back, I challenged myself to take 90 Italian lessons in 90 days on Preply. I wanted to see how far I could push my Italian in three months.
It worked — sort of. I got way more comfortable speaking. My fluency jumped. I could hold real conversations. But I noticed something frustrating: I wasn't actually absorbing everything my teachers were giving me. I'd learn a great phrase or grammar tip in one lesson, then completely forget it by the next. We kept circling back to the same words and structures because nothing was sticking.
The problem wasn't the lessons. The lessons were great. The problem was what happened between them — nothing. No review, no reinforcement, no way to capture the gold from each session.
